Discussion on the website was begun with Deb asking what people wanted improved. It is wished that it be more user friendly and easier to navigate. The website needs a makeover and to be visually updated. Contacts need to be updated. Deb wants to set up an email system that is easier to use for contacts for current president and webmaster. An online payment option is desired.
Deb asked what are our goals? We want to grow membership, offer educational opportunities and horse shows, rated and schooling. Photos are needed for the website.
It was decided to form smaller sub committees to work on various projects. This will allow more people to get volunteer hours by being on these committees. The website committee is Deb, Judy and Theresa S.
The mission statement and By-Laws were discussed. They are currently in Downloads on the website. The mission statement needs to be more prominent. There is a section of the By-Laws involving who can vote that needs to be clarified.
The March 25th braiding and grooming clinic with potluck was addressed. It will start at 8 am with grooming and at 9 am for braiding. Tae will be in charge. We will be promoting membership. Deb will make a flyer with a QR code so people can RSVP to give Tae a better idea on how many to expect to plan for the number of horses she needs. We will have a volunteer signup sheet at the clinic to get volunteers for the ARAB, Inc. AVS/CLD icebreaker show at the end of April.
Katie and I will check on the number of volunteers needed for the ARAB, Inc. AVS/CLD IceBreaker show.
October 14th is a planned open house at Tae’s.

Classic will have breeding classes on Saturday.
A motion to adjourn was made by Theresa S and seconded by Katie.
