April 18, 2021 MEETING MINUTES
CLD Board Meeting Minutes April 18, 2021
President Teresa Litchfield called the meeting to order at 7:08pm.
Teresa reports that she has updated the Classic Show sponsorship form and has sent it out to be shared by all. Prices for all sponsorships are the same as previous years.
Katie Keim, Treasurer, will forward Treasure's Report to Teresa.
Jordan reported that we have 27 members on our roster!
Schooling Show Updates
We are looking for volunteers for IceBreaker - ring stewards, runners and scribes are an important part of our team to insure our show will to be successful. All support is welcomed!
Entries are due to pick up so we need to get the word out on social media.
Paula will get our ring out to Tower Hill and bring her new measuring tapes.
Paula says she will have the arena set up early Friday morning.
Judy will get something out on Facebook.
Classic Shows
Rex Evans is not doing the stall cleaning nor will he have the feed store.
Paula has been informed that the Department of Agriculture is responsible for stall cleaning.
The dates for our 2022 and 2023 Classic shows have been given to the Appaloosa World Horse Show.
We inquired as to any other available dates to hold our shows and there is a date in early April and mid-May.
Paula will contact Joe, head of non-fair events, and see if she can get any insight on future dates.
As always, if we have to make any quick date decisions, we will contact board members and vote electronically to expedite the decision.
Inventory of our 'prizes' include 25 salt licks, 30 bucket hangers. Treat prizes have expired so we will need to order more.
Opening date for Equestrian Entries is May 8th.
Our next meeting with be May 16th at 7pm, hosted by WebX.
Judy motioned and Marilyn seconded to close the meeting. Teresa adjourned the meeting at 7:54pm
